英语倒装句在近几年的高考试题中多次出现，许多考生对此并无十分把握，常常会犯各种各样的错误。为此，笔者编写了一套英语倒装句口诀，或许对高考生做英语倒装句题有所帮助。口诀如下：

　　英语倒装句口诀：

　　倒装句式有两种，

　　全部倒装部分倒;

　　全倒要把谓动词，

　　全部放在主语前;

　　部倒助、系、情动词，

　　部分放在主语前。

　　全部倒装有六种-----

　　There be 句型全部倒，

　　方位词句首全部倒，

　　地状句首全部倒，

　　Such句首全部倒，

　　平衡句子全部倒，

　　直引句首全部倒。

　　部分倒装有六种----

　　If省略部分倒，

　　So…(that)句首部分倒，

　　As让步部分倒(表语/行为动词+as+主语+谓语)

　　前后相同部分倒(So/Neither/+助动词+主语)

　　事实真实部分倒(So+主语+助动词+主语)

　　否定句首部分倒，

　　Only(句首)修状部分倒，

　　多数部分倒只前倒，

　　Only、Not until,

　　只能后倒不前倒。

　　以下来举例说明：

　　There be 句型全部倒 There are many people in the hall. 方位词句首全部倒
